To our faithful supporters of the mission of RAHAB,
It is with great sadness that we need to convey the resignation of our CEO, Jaime Blair. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, Jaime is stepping down effective immediately. This decision is very hard for her; she loves RAHAB, its mission, the staff, volunteer team and the many people the ministry serves. Yet, based on these circumstances, it is the right decision for her to step away.
We love and support Jaime, and pray for nothing but the best as she navigates what lies ahead. The Board is asking that you continue to pray for her and her family as they navigate this season.
Throughout the time of Jaime’s leadership, RAHAB’s future had grown brighter and brighter. Strengthening its foundation, focusing the mission, and bringing clarity to questions was the strong suit of her tenure. We look forward to seeing that trajectory blossom with our current leadership team, staff and future CEO.
The board is faithfully committed to the mission of RAHAB, providing Christ-centered transformational services to those directly affected by sex trafficking. With the current slate of programming and the team God has given us, we are confident that the day-to-day ministry and countless stories of life change will continue to move the mission forward.
Please pray with us as we search for the next leader – the leader that God has in mind for our next season. He knew we needed Jaime, He knew He would walk with her through this journey, and He knows what is to come. It is and has always been His ministry. Join us in seeking His wisdom, His direction, and His “person” as RAHAB continues to bring the love and hope of Jesus to those He loves.
Pray with us that we put on the full armor of God, knowing that the enemy is shooting his arrows, but the faithfulness, righteousness, and truth of Christ and His salvation stand firm. The enemy will try to tear this work apart, but we know that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.
None of us can do this alone. Ministry is hard, and the stories of those we work with make it all the more complicated. But we trust God’s provision through each and every season of His work, knowing that He gets us through in plenty and in want. Thank you for your continued prayer, support, and witness to what God is doing in and through RAHAB.
We truly are better doing this together.
In prayer and service to our Savior,
The Board of Directors
